Hi,
Another one I would recommend is:
BGP4: Inter-domain Routing in the Internet
by John W. Stewart III
It's only about 130 pages and is a great vendor-agnostic introduction to the protocol. You won't learn how to configure BGP with this book but you will learn what the protocol is all about.
Hope that helps - pls rate the post if it does.

Paresh,
The book is dated 1998. Is it still OK for current BGP stuff?

Hi Ankur,
These links to solve some issues. Most of them are advice on "how", but very little on 'why". I need a source to understand more of a logic approach to implement BGP. On details about "how" I'll worry later. Thanks anyway. Are you somewhere in Europe?
