Boning NICS with Cisco

Greetings,

I am new to Cisco hardware, but have purchased 2 4948-10GE's with the "enterprise services image" that I have yet to receive.

I purchased these for HA (and hopefully load balancing) connected to my 2 PIX 525 Firewalls.

Right now I am looking for information on configuring the switches for my environment. Breaking it into sections, I am currently looking of information connect 1 server with dual nics to both switches. IOW if one switch goes down my servers will remain up. I think it is called trunking in Cisco talk.

Thanks for any help/guidance you can offer!

Vince

Do some research on spanning-tree. Your goal is very attainable.
