Hi...

I have a serious issue...My WAN router was crashed after a power failure. When I restart the router it is directly going to rommon mode..

I run the following commands:

rommon 2 > confreg
rommon 3 > reset

rommon 1 > dir flash:

rommon 2 > boot flash:imgname.bin

But still its showing the software is crashed and again going to rommon mode.
What can be problem? Is it the problem with flash. But I can all the required files inside flash

Can you post the log showing your router trying to load the IOS image and crashing please? You might have a corrupted image - you could try reloading the image via TFTP.

Post the entire bootup process.  Your router could have a hardware failure.

I cannot access the router through console too. How can I check the logs and bootup process. I think its hardware crash.

You must be accessing the router through the console or you would not be able to do the rommon stuff

No router type mentioned. No complete boot log. No help possible.
