boot recovery 8540

Can somebody indicate me an document which explain about boot recovery of image IOS to Catalyst 8540?

PS for example if it is in rommon>.

Are you sure you have no images in bootflash.

to check do a 'dir bootflash:'

if you see a file in there, you can do

boot bootflash:

you should be able to bootup.

If there is no files in the bootflash or if it corrupted, you need a PCMCIA card with the image you need pre-loaded. There is no xmodem available from rommon.

or other ways to do it unfortunately.

rommon>boot cat8540c-in-mz_120-13_W5_19.bin 192.168.240.22 (where this is the ip address of TFTP) ?

I don't it would work. PCMCIA is the only option that i know of.
