Boot sequence on a 7304

HI all,

This router (7304) has a flash memory and disk0 devices, the thing is that if you don´t specify the boot system lines in the config it starts with the first image stored in the disk0 device, by the way, there are disk0 and stby-disk0 devices but only a flash memory without backup. I´m confused because if I try to boot from the flash forcing the router with the proper boot system line it boots in a wrong way with the bootsystem image. Can someone clarify this behaviour? I paste a dir ? output.

ROUTER#dir ?

/all List all files

/recursive List files recursively

all-filesystems List files on all filesystems

bootdisk: Directory or file name

cns: Directory or file name

disk0: Directory or file name

flash: Directory or file name

null: Directory or file name

nvram: Directory or file name

revrcsf: Directory or file name

stby-bootdisk: Directory or file name

stby-disk0: Directory or file name

stby-nvram: Directory or file name

stby-rcsf: Directory or file name

system: Directory or file name

tar: Directory or file name

<cr>

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
