Booting 3660 router from network

I'm trying to download 12.2.x image (16 MB) on to new 32 MB flash module.

I'm having problems with xmodem console download procedure.

I'm getting the following error message when the file completes downloading

"Erasing flash at 0x30000000sector erase failed at location 0x30000000, status 0x20202020"

here is the actual output:

Is it possible to boot the router from TFTP server? I have the IOS image on TFTP server.

Once the router boots, I can use "copy tftp flash" command to download the image and this method is faster too.

Please let me know if there is a procedure to boot 3660 router from network (TFTP server).

Did you find a solution to the issue? Also I suppose the IOS file size is more than 16mb, and it will not download with tftp. So, how did you solve the issue. I am too facing the same problem.
