Booting MSFC1 from Sup1 sup-slot0:

I'm trying to upgrade our MSFC1's to 12.1.19.E1 to fix some EIGRP bugs in the version we are currently running (12.1.11.b). The bug is fixed in 12.1.19, but since the MSFC1 only has 16mb of flash, both the boot file and IOS will not fit. I've tried having the MSFC boot from the sup-slot0: with the following commands, but with no luck.

boot system sup-slot0:c6msfc-jsv-mz.121-19.E1

boot bootldr bootflash:c6msfc-boot-mz.121-11b.E

But after reboot, the MSFC does not see the file on the sup-slot0:, and boots to a default IOS.

We are running native Cat IOS on the 6509.

Any help would be appreciated.
