Hi All,

If I configure "spanning-tree portfast bpduguard" as a global command, will it only apply to interfaces that have portfast turned on or does it affect all interfaces?

From the documentation, I can't see how it is diferent between global and interface commands.

Hi Meena,

When configured globally, BPDU Guard is only effective on ports in the operational PortFast state.

When enabled on a port, BPDU Guard shuts down a port that receives a BPDU.
