bridge question

hi, everybody

A company has two lan(A,B)A is Ethernet,B is Token ring, the A ad B are two different subnet ,

A : 192.168.100.0

B: 192.168.102.0

so if a bridge connects two LAN, can it access each other ?

if A and B is the same subnet, it can access each other, right?

Re: bridge question

if they are bridged, they can't access each other since the subnet is different. you can have router with secondary interface to route between the two.

obviously if they are in the same subnet they can talk to each other.
