Bridging and Routing

I'm proposing a project to migrate from a hub/spoke bridged WAN (don't even ask) to a full routed WAN and need to know if I can do bridging and routing at the same time just for the purposes of migration and then get rid of bridging. Thanks!

You can do IRB. My suggestion to you would be to just use it during migration. It's not a good idea to bridge over a WAN as a long term solution

The people who set it up a few years ago did not understand the grave consequences of bridging 7 spoke sites and did not know how to program routing so now I have to get rid of the bridging and enable routing. Can you explain what IRB is or point me in the right direction?

Thanks.
