Bridging on 802.1Q subinterface (GE)

Hi,

I have a 7206 connected to a 2950 with GE (fiber) and a second fiber connected to a 3500XL. Both links used to be connected to the 3500XL and configured as ISL trunks. Since 2950 only supports 802.1Q, I had to change the config.

But I also configured Bridging on the ISL trunk. With the change I found out that I could not configure Bridging on the 802.1Q int. I tried a newer software version (12.2-14S1) with should support this. But that was not the case. Does anyone know if this config is possible (with another IOS?)?

I do need the bridging feature:-(

Regards,

Raymond

You'll need the T train.

Thanks, will try that.

Thanks, that worked.
