I have a 7206 attached to a port on a Cat4006 and I'm bridging on the 7206 int fa0/0 to extend a vlan from across the country to my Cat4006. However at some point I need to attach more devices into the Cat4006 than those that are extended across country from the 7206. The question I have is can I configure a trunk from the 7206 fa0/0 to the Cat4006, but the devices extended across country, say in Vlan 16 and create say vlan 17 for other devices. Also would I have to configure a native vlan on the 7602 fa0/0 and where would I place the encap for trunking.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
