I have a c2610 connected to a cisco7206 over Frame relay. c2610 is using FRF9 compression and 7206 is using Compression service adapter. Its giving following error at 2600 side. My question is thsi type of setup supported ? it gives errors only sometimes

2600 is running 12.0(21)S1 and 7206 is running 12.1(2)

config is

interface Serial0/0.1 point-to-point

description Frame-Relay link to Warwick

bandwidth 384

ip address 10.34.50.226 255.255.255.252

no ip mroute-cache

frame-relay interface-dlci 32 IETF

frame-relay payload-compression FRF9 stac

Re: c2610 and FRF9

It is supported however there is a bug in the 12.1(2) code you are running, CSCdr46696, which produces this message. You need to upgrade to 12.2(12) or above.
