C4000 not recognized by DFM / CM ??

hello npc.

i have two c4000's that i would like to manage via cm/dfm. unfortunately the devices are discovered as "uncertified" in the dfm, and so discovery will not pass beyond them i guess.

their objectuid is .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.448 and the documentation at

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/cscowork/ps563/products_device_support_table09186a008017b4a2.html

says they are supported, while the status "uncertified" means , they're not listed in the config file "oid2types.conf".

is this maybe because of the relatively old os 12.1.(12c) EW ??

thanks in advance,

gerhard

.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.448= Cat4006. The device list that you're refering to above is for Campus Manager and not for DFM. Is this not showing in DFM. Correct?. What is the DFM/Campus Manager versions and corresponding IDU pacthes installed?

hello.

the device is showing as uncertified in dfm.

the versions are:

dfm 1.2

cm 3.3

idu-patch 1.2.5

can you help?

thanks,

gerhard

Is this running NativeIOS?. If so, then you'll have to wait for the next DFM IDU as it is not currently supported.
