One of my costumers main office use a cisco 801 to connect to 2 of their branch offices, one of the branch offices use a C801 and one a C1603 . Every morning the branch office with the C801 needs to be rebooted to accept incoming calls. After the reboot it accepts incoming calls all day. I tried to do a shutdown/no shutdown on the Bri instead of rebooting but it that doesnt help.
Outgoing calls from the branch office to the main works fine.
I did a debug on the router in the branch office when a call is done from the main (IOS running (IOS (tm) C800 Software (C800-SY6-MW), Version 12.0(7)T, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc2)):
The debug shows some out of sequence isdn events. You can see that setup message is received and replied by call_proc. connect_ack is received but not connect message before that. Anyway, in 12.0(7)T have some issues like that reported. So changing ios to any 12.1 or 12.2 on 801 should fix the problem.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
