Callback between Cisco2621 and Cisco 760

Hello,

I have got a problem to enable callback from a Cisco 760 to a Cisco 2621.

First, the Cisco 2621 calls the Cisco 760 and the connection is established.

Second, the call is cleared normally

Third, the 760 does not call back the 2621...

Do you have an example of a running Cisco 760 config with call back ?

Please see first the config of my 2621:

interface Dialer1

description connected to HRA BS

ip address 10.195.49.1 255.255.255.0

encapsulation ppp

no ip split-horizon

dialer pool 1

dialer string xxxxxx

dialer-group 1

no peer default ip address

no cdp enable

ppp callback request

ppp authentication chap pap callin

ppp multilink

interface BRI0/0

no ip address

encapsulation ppp

dialer pool-member 1

isdn switch-type basic-net3

ppp authentication chap pap

The config of my Cisco760 is:

cd

set user XXXX

set ppp auth out chap

set ppp secret host

XXXX

XXXX

set ppp secret client

XXXX

XXXX

set ppp password host

XXXX

set ppp password client

set ip address 10.195.49.30

set ip netmask 255.255.255.0

set timeout 30

set ip route dest 10.49.64.0/0 gate 10.195.49.1

set active

set user XXXX

set ppp auth out chap

set ppp secret host

.....

Thanks a lot for your help

Re: Callback between Cisco2621 and Cisco 760

You can probably remove callback and check if the call goes through and see if authentication is successful, and then you can find where the problem is. This links has couple of configurations for 700 series routers : http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/129/20.html
