Hi,
I am using LMS 1.3 (CM IDU 6.0).
In user tracking, I am seeing my IP phones OK, but I see multiple (duplicate) entries for many phones.
The entries show the phones connected to the same switch ports, with the same IP address & MAC address. Some phones have up to 3 entries, some show contact lost, others do not. All show the last contact time as being the same.
Any ideas ?

Hi all,
No replies, but think this is due to retrieving an entry from 3 redundant Call Managers.

I have the same problem but not for phones but instead for standard pc users. we must be the only ones having this problem i wiped the database and they came back. hope someone has an idea

Hi.. I am running into similar problem on a 4006 series switch.. I think ANI is picking up the trunk ports or backbone port as an edge / user port. verify that cdp is configured properly and that neighbouring devices is seen when issuing cdp neigh cdp neigh detail.
I'll let u know how I make out with my 4006's
