Can 6506 repel "replay attack"

Running

CatOS NmpSW: 8.4(2a)

with IOS:12.2(17r)S2

Does the 6506 have the ability to ward off a "reply attack?" Had some weird "stuff" happen for about an hour that only a reply attack could explain.

Specific servers on same switch could not be accessed, but others could, no DOS spike in bandwidth. will also post in security

TCP Intercept feature would block a TCP replay attack since there would not be a bi-directional connection established.

just got a link on DDOS Threats - Risks, Mitigation and Best Practices
