I need to do muilticast on just 1 LAN.

I have a subnet with some non-Cisco switches that support IGMP but they nead a router that works as IGMP querier.

I have seen that the catalyst 6500 support this feature.

It's this feature supported on Cisco 2610?

If not, what can i do?

Most IOS with IP protocol support, should support Mcasting too. You might want to enable IGMP on an interface of router and check.

Before this, enable Mcasting, globally using ip multicast-routing

I guess IGMP version 2 is enabled by default on the interfaces, when you enable Mcasting globally.

Andrea,

A 2610 with multicast routing enabled can act as an IGMP Querier.
