Can a 3550-24 inline power switch attach to CPE 575 Lan port? We'll design a CCM solution like this: CCM-LRE2900-pots line(analog line)-CPE575-3550inline power-IP phone. The reason we design this way is that it's a hotel buildings and there are no fiber and cat 5 between buildings but analog line. However inside the building there are cat5s. Will this work?
I hope it will work. Because LRE technology is just allowing to extend the distance of ethernet by analog line from LRE switch to 575-CPE. And in other way, logically we can say that 575-CPE ethernet port is remote ethernet port of LRE switch.
