Can a combination of async PPP callback and exec callback be used

I have a Cisco 2620 router in which I was thinking of installing an NM-8AM= analogue modem module in. However I was wondering if it is possible to combine async PPP callback and exec callback on the same router as the command for enabling exec callback seems to be applied globally and the command to enable async PPP callback is applied on each line config

Re: Can a combination of async PPP callback and exec callback be

"ppp callback accept", configured

on the interface, allows for callback

to be negotiated. However, each user

has to be _authorized_ for callback,

which is handle with the global "username"

command (ie username foo callback-dialstring

"" password bar). The username command

is required for EXEC callback, too.

So it's best to have users configured for

one type of callback; PPP callback is the

one most transparent to the user.
