Can an AUX port be connected to a Console port of another device

I am trying to use a Cisco router's AUX port to reverse telnet to a Cisco switch for out of band management in remote offices. Could anyone tell me what cable is required RJ45-RJ45, i.e. is it a cisco rollover cable or an ethernet x-over and a sample router configuration to perform this function.

You need a rollover cable; the

AUX port acts as a DTE, the console

as a DCE. You only need to configure

"trans input all" on the line, and make

sure that the speeds are setup to be

the same.
