Does catalyst 3550 support command such as Set port priority to a server? (I found the server port have a lot of RCV-errors! and want to improve

Thanks.

This is only for spanning tree. Set port priority is only available in switches which are based on bus architecture(cat5000). A port with priority set to high, will have higher priority while accessing the back plane bus.

3550 does not have such command since it does not have bus based architecture

I don't know offhand if there's a command for this in IOS but errors on the port are probably more likely to be caused by either a bad cable or too much traffic on the port itself. A given port is only going to be able to forward at its maximum bandwidth (e.g., 100Mbit/sec) regardless of what its priority is.
