can I have 2 equal default routes pointing to 2 different next hops?

I am trying to do load balancing for a remote site. I have router that have 2 exit points, one is a Frame relay link, the other is a GRE VPN tunnel, Both links connect to different routers. If I have 2 static default routes pointing to both exit interfaces, would OSPF treat them as equals and load balance over the 2 exits interfaces? would the GRE tunnel create any problems?

Re: can I have 2 equal default routes pointing to 2 different ne

OSPF would see the static routes as equal on the router you configure it on.

They are static route with the adminitrative distance of 1. both of then would be in the routing table

as equal path.

The gre tunnel should not creat any problem what so ever.
