Only if it's a fast ethernet interface.

correct answer is if your IOS supports it.
I think you need 12.2 (at least that is what I use)
command is full-duplex on the ethernet interface.

Thanks for your response. Since you mentioned it, I believe you are correct. We have one router with 12.2(6) and it is set for duplex. We are using 3640's with mica modem banks. What version of 12.2 are you using. We have had some troubles with 12.2(6). Thanks for your help.

That's wrong. Full-duplex is supported on regular ethernet with the right IOS and the right platform.
