Can Internetwork Performance Monitor bandwidth usage ?

Hello all,

I am using IPF version 2.4 and I wonder if I can use this tool to measure bandwidth usage between two sites, e.g. how much bandwith of a 128K line between two sites is being used. This in order to determine if I need to upgrade the line. Has anybody configured IPF to measure this ?

Georg,

IPM is for latency and availability not for BW utilization. Here's a link on IPM for your information.

For a freeware BW utilization program you might look into MRTG if you are just looking for something to give you utilization statistics over time. Here is a link for this as well.

If you have nGenius Real Time Monitor (RTM) application with CW2K, you can use it as well.
