Can't ping FR switch (DCE) from router (DTE)

I have ran most of the show and debug commands and seems like everything is up and running (active), but I can't seem to be able to ping or telnet between the router and the switch. The only thing I can think of is that I configured the routing protocol incorrectly. I've tried using OSPF, EIGRP, and RIP. Below is the result of the show frame-relay pvc and show frame-relay map command.

FRswitch#show frame-relay pvc

DLCI = 101, DLCI USAGE = LOCAL, PVC STATUS = ACTIVE, INTERFACE = Serial0

input pkts 22 output pkts 7 in bytes 1408

out bytes 448 dropped pkts 0 in FECN pkts 0

in BECN pkts 0 out FECN pkts 0 out BECN pkts 0

in DE pkts 0 out DE pkts 0

out bcast pkts 7 out bcast bytes 448

pvc create time 01:44:59, last time pvc status changed 01:42:12

FRswitch#show frame-relay map

Serial0 (up): ip 10.0.227.1 dlci 101(0x65,0x1850), static,

broadcast,

CISCO, status defined, active

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the link. I've ran across the link before and tried to do what it said. I can ping the local interfaces but not any other interfaces on the other routers.

Frame Relay is running on Layer 2 of OSI

Ping is running on Layer 3 of OSI

...

Try to use subinterface rather than physical interface.
