Can you NAT a range of addresses into one single address?

We have a range of ip addresses that we need to translate into a valid ip addressing scheme, but we don't want to allocate a pool of addresses as we are short of addresses on our network. Can we translate a group of addresses into one single address using NAT in order to conserve address space?

Yes Port Address Translation (PAT) (also known as NAT Overload) maps a number of IP addresses onto a single address and uses the TCP/UDP port number to differentiate between connections.
