Cannot access Websites

Hi,

I've a problem regarding the inaccessibility of certain websites. Let me outline the scenario:

My friend's working in a company in UAE whose main office is in US. Now the company in UAE can't access sites yahoo, Fb, Twitr & a few tech sites. The whole network is managed from US. What I would like to know is if there's any way of accessing these blocked sites without the US team knowing. The company in UAE has 1 Linksys router connected to a server via a Catalyst switch. The workstation connections are taken diectly from the switch. I think that IP blocking has been done in the router since the UAE company doesn't have any firewall h/w device

Plz help.

Tanx!

Re: Cannot access Websites

Your only option would be to try and use anonymizer-like sites that are free internet proxies, from which you can load a website within a website.

Examples:

http://www.hidemyass.com/

http://youhide.com/

or any other from this list:

http://www.proxy4free.com/

They will know you are visiting these sites, and likely block them. Sometimes abiding by corporate policy is the best solution.
