Cannot connect to new VLAN

Hi,

I have created a new VLAN on router (IP address 1.1.1.1) and configured the switch for this vlan (VLAN 1). I can ping the 1.1.1.1 from all the other vlans configured on the router but when I connect anything on the switch port configured for this vlan I can't ping that workstation. I can't even ping the router from the workstation.

I can't even ping workstation from router.

Thanks

Re: Cannot connect to new VLAN

You have not supplied enough information... How have you configured the router to the switch ??

How have you configured the switch ?

Re: Cannot connect to new VLAN

Make sure that, in the switch, you have added the port that connects to the router to the new VLAN.
