capacity of Catalyst 6509's forwarding table and routing table

Where can i find the capacity of forwarding table and routing table in Catalyst 6509/6009?

If forwarding table is full, does new IP address need CPU to handle? instead by CEF direct forwarding? Will it cause increase of CPU utilization?

If you have Sup1a with an MSFC, MLS cache larger than 32K increases the probability that a flow will not be switched by the MLS-SE and

will get forwarded to the router.

If you have a Sup2/MSFC2, it uses CEF based MLS and it supports upto 256K prefixes & 256K adjacencies (prefix and adjacency entries shared by IP, IP mcast, IPX)

More info is on CCO at
