Cat 1900 and RME

Hi

In Cat 1900 is not necesary to configure the telnet password, but what can I do in inventory to recover the configuration or make some changes to configuration if I dont define the telnet password?

Thanks!

Re: Cat 1900 and RME

I believe that for Cat1900, RME uses only telnet to get the configs.

Re: Cat 1900 and RME

So what can I do, because when I check the device atributes I get the error on telnet password, and I dont get any configuration for 1900 switches.

Use Change Device Attributes to update the device credentials first and then try doing an Update Archive again.

Re: Cat 1900 and RME

For Cat1900 to ask for telnet password, do "conf t" and add this line:

enable password level 1 "password"

Then, RME will no longer give you that error.

However, i still can't update the config archive in RME from the Cat1900 ... I have about 130 devices, and RME get config from them all except Cat1900.

Any idea ? Anyone ?
