Replacing a 2924 that is segmented into 3 VLANs each on seperate subnets and each with its own 100Mb connection, to a 2950 with one Gb connection to the main router(7513). Can I segment the 2950 to match the old 2924 config and route all the traffic over the Gb port? Can this be done without using VTP? I am not using VTP anywhere on the network now.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
