Cat 4006 error

Hi,

Can anyone help with this problem, I have a Cat 4006 switch running CatOS 7.6.1 with these errors appearing in the logging history.

%SYS-4-P2_WARN: 1/Blocked queue on gigaport 32, ( 296 : 0 )

%SYS-4-P2_WARN: 1/Blocked queue (tx) on port 2/41

There are lots of these errors being reported every day and usually on the same port or ports close by.

I have a few users experiencing slow conectivity on this switch.

Can anyone tell me what these errors mean as I have looked them up on the Cisco web site but don't seem to be able to find them.

Thanks in advance

Richard

Hi,

check the bug CSCdp93187.

The bug description says:

"You will probably not see this warning message. Instead, if you see a message

like: Blocked queue on gigaport 4, ( 0 : 10 )

You need to contact the TAC, to determine if the module needs to be replaced."

There are also some other bugs found by TAC Bug Toolkit (http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/Support/Bugtool/launch_bugtool.pl)

if you are looking for "Blocked queue" on Cat4000 family.

Regards,

Milan
