We are seeing a large number of Sup II failures in our network . What we see are astro timeout errors along with block gig queue or addresses flapping between 2 ports . It is not a spanning tree problem or some one tieing up the switch so that it can't talk to the asics . what we have seen in almost every case when we bring them back and look at them they all get SRAM failures on the
POST tests . Lately we have been seeing at least 2 a week . Apparently this is a known problem , anyone else seeing higher than normal failure rates on the SUP II boards ? In every case a new Supervisor has fixed the problem .
