Cat 5509

I have cat 5509 with dual power supplies .I am getting blinking system and fan LED green and red.

On console I am getting

%SYS-2-FAN-Fail

and Show system command is showing System and fan status fail

but all fan and power supplies are working and system is operational

Any Help?

Try reseating the Fan tray

It only takes 1 or 2 fans that are flakey on a whole fan tray to cause something like this , if reseating doesn't work then it's time to replace fan tray . Fans in the power supplies working ok ???
