Hi,
Could anyone tell me what this error means?
2004 Apr 05 21:55:24 %SYS-3-P2_ERROR: 3/C5man: Gigmac Link B, Mac rcv sync loss error, status reg is: 0x00
2004 Apr 05 21:55:28 %SYS-3-P2_ERROR: 3/C5man: Gigmac Link A, Mac rcv sync loss error, status reg is: 0x00
2004 Apr 05 21:55:29 %SYS-3-P2_ERROR: 3/C5man: Gigmac Link B, Mac rcv sync loss error, status reg is: 0x00
2004 Apr 05 21:55:33 %SYS-3-P2_ERROR: 3/C5man: Gigmac Link A, Mac rcv sync loss error, status reg is: 0x00
One of our Cat5513 is sending these errors, but I'm not sure what it means....

Your WS-X5410 is bad and will need to be replaced. Open a TAC case if you have a service contract

Hi,
Thanks for your replay.
I have three other Cat 5500 switches connected to WS-X5410 and they don't seem to have any problem.
Would it be a bad WS-5534-GESX module??

You might try doing a reset on the module first to see if that helps at all , make sure diags are set as complete , this will then tell you if you have a hardware problem .
