Cat-6500 stores the logs in NVRAM

Does anybody happen to know if Cat-6500 stores the system message logs in its NVRAM?

No. The log messages are stored in DRAM if logging buffered is enabled. If you need to save them you can set up syslog and store them on a syslog server.

Thanks for your response. Does that mean if the Cat-6500 was bounced to rectify a problem, the problem related log messages are gone?
