Hello Guys,

i am trying to configure the cat6509 and get this Prob:

the layer 3 Modul is giving me this prompt: router (boot)#

after rebooting the switxh i am not ´more able to connect to layer 3

SW01-6509GL7-11> (enable) session 15

Trying Router-15...

session: Unable to tunnel to Router-15 (57)

Hello Alain

Try to use the command "switch console" or "swith console 15" , you have to be directly connected to the sup console to do this. If you reset the mod 15 just before switching console you can see the startup.

thanks for replaying me. I try the command "switch console 15" and get this message

Sleeping for 300 secs before next netboot attempt

but no connection

Issue a "reset 15", then "switch console" in and send a break sequence to break into rommon. You might have to recover MSFC using procedures in the following tech tip
