I added a new default route on a 2980g layer 2 switch with the set command, but cannot figure out how to remove the old default route?

Issue a "clear ip route"

ES2-LAB> (enable) clear ip route ?

all Clear all IP routes

Clear IP route destination

ES2-LAB> (enable) clear ip route

Use "clear ip route all" and then add the required route or just clear the one you want.

Hello Gary,

'clear ip route' should let you delete the route, can you check if you have that command available on your switch ?
