Is it possible to mirror a port on a Catalyst 1900 Series Switch ?

Which IOS is needed and can you post a configuration example please.

You can do SPAN on the Cat1900. Here is a link to config guide that walks you through the config menu for this feature.

In looking at the docs it appears all version 6.x - 9.x support port monitoring on the Cat1900.
