I'm using a NMS Korean product...

and I'm trying to get mib of catalyst 2820 and everything is well done.

but only one thing, collision counts, is not presented in my NMS.

I can notify port utilization, link connectivity something like that...

Catalyst 2820 is connected to dummy hub... so, I can see the collision counts through the consol monitor of the switch...

Is there any configuration to get the collsion counts from that switch?

How can I do?

Try swPortTxSingleCollisions and swPortTxMultipleCollisions in ESSWITCH-MIB

ftp://ftp.cisco.com/pub/mibs/v1/ESSWITCH-MIB.my

Thank you very much for your reply...

But how can I apply what you recommanded.

As you know Catalyst 2820 has only Menu mode not CLI mode...

Would you explain how I can apply?

Is there any reason about that problem if 3com hub is connected?

I was assuming you were using some NMS application to poll MIB objects off the 2820 switch. So I told you the objects to poll for collisions. If that's not the case, please elaborate what your exact scenario.

I'm very sorry you didn't make any sense what I told you...

In fact, what I want to know is how I can get the collision counts of Catalyst 2820 switch...

That switch is connected 3Com Hub. So that switch is counting collision...

I can see the count through terminal monitor.

But the problem is that I cann't get any collision count in my NMS...

Port utilization, CPU rating, etc... are working nomally... In another word, I can see port utilization, cpu rating, etc.. through NMS monitor... except collision counts...

So, I really want to know what kind of configurations let the switch send the collision counts to NMS....

Now the NMS is working properly, but it doesn't get the collision counts of the switch...

Is it make any sense?

please answer me...

I'm anticipating your reply...

Thank you...
