Cat2950 and PVLANs.

Are there any plans to have PVLAN support for Cat2950's?

Are you looking at putting this in a multi-tenant network? Like a hotel or apartment building? You may want to look at the command switchport protected.

Thanks for the link -- wasn't aware of that command.

We have a 2950 as our DMZ switch, and I read an article yesterday which suggested that DMZ devices be prevented from talking to each other unless necessary. PVLANs were the suggested way of doing this, though it looks like protected ports accomplish pretty much the same thing.

Yes..Edge port is the only feature of PVLAN supported in the 2950.
