Hi
I found out the multicast packets are flooded in the server vlan. Once there is one client registered in this vlan, the flooding will stop.
Is this the limitation of IGMP snooping? how to solve it?

You have look into more information on the router side for prevent flooding.

I agree, check PIM dense/sparse mode on the router.

Thats a typical two tier design. two core switches enabled with PIM sparse-dense mode. The problem is happening on the server farm switch.
