The following commands?

Cat4006 Sup3# ip forward-protocol udp netbios (ports 137,138,139)

and

Cat4006Sup3# ip helper address [ip-address]

I was under the impression that the 1st command, since it is a Global config command, would allow NetBios name resolution to pass thru the L3 engine, thus allowing Windows Workgroups to see each other via Network Neighborhood.

That didnt happen until I issues the 2nd command, which I understood to be for allowing DHCP broadcasts. ????

Ports 67 and 68 are used for DHCP. You might want to read from
