Cat4006

Hi,

I am looking into a way to manage this swith type via http connection. Unfortunatelly, I have not found CMS possibility with this switch. Is there any at all? What is the best way to manage this switch via http?

it is rather urgent :( please help

Yes these switches have an http interface but it takes a separate file , Catos http file from cisco to do this if it not already on the box , then you must activate ip http server command on the 4000 . Do a

dir bootflash: and you should see a 2nd filename in bootflash like cat4000-cv.7-5-1.bin . The cv stands for ciscoview and is what supports http .
