Cat4506 port-security and Mac G5 problem

Has anyone heard of falsely port-security mac violation messages? We'd recently installed some new Cat4506 switches and have port-security enabled. Allowing 1 mac per port and age out 10 mins of inactivity. This works very well with Windows platform PCs. When a Mac G5 is plug into a port previously has a PC or another Mac, it triggers a mac violation message. The G5 is unable obtain a DHCP address. "Show port-security" on the switch does not reveal any violations. The G5 required several reboots in order to obtain a valid address. The ports are also DHCP snooping enabled. Don't think that's the problem, cause "mac violation" messages are clearly port-security related.

switchport mode access

switchport port-security

switchport port-security aging time 10

switchport port-security violation restrict

switchport port-security aging type inactivity

spanning-tree portfast

ip dhcp snooping limit rate 100

If possible, disable the Spanning-tree and check if it works OK

Thanks for responding. Have the same problem with spanning tree disabled. Any other ideas?
