Cat5000 switch and cat 1900 switch, windows login very slowly
I have a customer have serval cat5000 as core switch, 1900/2900 as desktop switch. connected by fibre FE. They have serval windows nt servers, and hundreds users.
The strange thing every time when the user log into windows nt server ,it took about 30s to 1min, even in same vlan. But if the user is in same switch as the server, it's ok. So I think there is problem between switches, but I don't have enough time to do the test. I try to continous ping, no one packet lost from client to server , vice versa.
Is there anybody can imagine what's the problem there is?
