[Cat6500] %SYS-3-FAB_SYNCERR:SYNC ERROR

%SYS-3-FAB_SYNCERR:SYNC ERROR detected on fabric channel 1 from module 5

Anybody knows if this is critical or not? Cisco's Error Message Decoder tool says the system will recover by resynchronizing or resetting the module.

Here's another message (immediately following the error message above):

%SYS-5-FAB_CHANNELINSYNC:Fabric channel 0 on module 2 is now in sync

I'm not sure if this is the recovery message for the previous error because this message indicated "channel 0 on module 2" while the previous message indicated "channel 1 from module".

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Ariel

Re: [Cat6500] %SYS-3-FAB_SYNCERR:SYNC ERROR

I don't think that those two error messages are inter-related. Please try with re-seating of the module. Please refer this link for more information about these errors.
