CAt6509 Layer 2 issue

Hi,

I have a CAT6509 switch running CATOS with MFSC card and supervision engine 2.

- Layer 2 ip address is 10.10.10.1

- Layer 3 ip address is 10.10.10.2

The problem I have now is I cannot ping the layer 2 ip, however, layer 3 ip seem ok. Can I know why?

Thanks

Re: CAt6509 Layer 2 issue

Please refer to the config. guide as below :

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/switches/ps708/products_configuration_guide_chapter09186a00801a5b36.html

Could you advisw where do you ping from ? And more details on the connectivity.

Please show the "show run" of the router & switch section.
